Shubhra Acharya

I studied Masters in Biotechnology from Dr. D.Y. Patil University, Pune, India. I joined as a PhD student in the lab in 2019 and I am interested in studying common mechanisms underlying various diseases. In my PhD project, I will be using patient derived iPSCs as a model system, to delineate the role of long non-coding RNAs in Brain-Heart Axis via Heart Failure and Neurodegeneration.

My activities

"I am a PhD Student in the lab since Nov 2019, working on induced pluripotent stem cells(iPSC) in neurological disease. I will delineate the role of long noncoding RNAs in neurodegeneration using iPSCs."
