Antonio Salgado Somoza, PhD

My activities

"I am working as a Scientist in the lab, conducting research on the biomarker potential of noncoding RNAs, mainly in the context of cardiac arrest. I contribute to the management of the laboratory staff and provide them with experimental designs and tools for the manipulation of gene expression in experimental in vitro models. I am particularly interested in circular RNAs."

My projects

I am collaborating in several projects in the lab including:

  1. Identification of noncoding RNA biomarkers predictive of outcome after cardiac arrest (FNR-CORE funded project “PACA”)

  2. Development of molecular tools for the measurement and manipulation of long noncoding and circular RNAs.
