Within the consortium of Dr. Konrad Aden (University Hospital Schleswig Holstein), Dr. Christoph Ogris (Helmholtz Centre Munich) and Dr. Andrey Pravdivtsev (Kiel University), we work on the multi-dimensional resolution of tryptophan-driven immune-metabolism as a novel pathophysiological principle in inflammatory bowel diesease (Try-IBD project). The project started in October 2019 is one of the “Junior systems medicine research alliances” funded within the framework of e:Med by the German Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) with a total sum of 2.5 Mio Euro for five years.
